The Trust and Cultural Exchange research project aims to advance a deeper, historical, understanding of how notions and practices of trust shape global cultural and professional exchanges between individuals and communities.
The project explores theory and practices of trust across history and cultures. The aim is to understand trust-making by investigating concepts and case studies of trust or distrust in the production of social, cultural, and economic capitals.
Participants are engaged in a number of talks, workshops and study groups to deepen understanding of how trust shapes global cultural and transcultural exchange.
